Ep. 21 – Martin Luther King Jr’s Legacy (Pt 1)

Participants in the 2018 Social Consciousness Summit at Andrews University sat down to discuss King’s legacy as a way of paying tribute 50 years after his assassination on April 4, 1968. The conversation included Garrison Hayes (AU Campus Ministries), Michael Nixon (AU VP & Against the Wall), Jason O’Rourke (chaplain, FL), Tiffany Llewellyn (Adventists for Social Justice), Wale Adepoju (Adventists for Social Justice), Alisa Williams (Spectrum), and myself (APF, AToday & AU Research).

Also, this episode is actually Part 1 of the conversation. Because our exchanged lasted over an hour and a half, I decided to split it between two episodes. I really hope you’ll tune in for Part 2, which will be released soon. That portion of the conversation features Claudia Allen.
