Ep. 28 – ADRA Connections Mission Trips

Adam Wamack describes this summer’s ADRA Connections trip to Brazil and the bigger picture of how other groups can get involved in projects through short-term mission trips.

Adam Wamack is the ADRA Connections manager for the Adventist Development and Relief Agency. He currently lives in Maryland with his wife of eight years and enjoys sports, reading, Bible study, working out, and traveling with ADRA International. As manager of ADRA Connections, he works directly with ADRA offices around the world to plan mission trips, with U.S.-based groups to promote and fundraise for trips, and with volunteer groups as they travel abroad and implement the project work in developing communities. Adam previously served as a development officer at the Florida Hospital Foundation. Earlier, he was interactive patient care manager at Florida Hospital Celebration Health, training staff and managing the patient experience technology for all 174 inpatient beds of the hospital. Prior to that, Adam also served as a patient liaison at Florida Hospital The Experience Network. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Adam earned a masters of science in health services administration. He also graduated from Southern Adventist University with a bachelor of arts in history and Spanish and a minor in political economy.
